What is COLOR JOURNEY?

A site that shares six-color palettes drawn from nature, seasons, eras and moods, a few times a week. For each palette, you can download the HEX codes, a video LUT, swatches (.ase), CSS and token JSON for free.

Is it free? Can I use it for client work?

Yes. Everything is free to use, including for commercial work. The same goes for gradient images you make on palette pages. You may not redistribute or sell the files or images themselves. Terms of use

Which software can I use the LUTs with?

Any video or photo editor that can load .cube LUTs, such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Photoshop. The free LUT comes at standard strength by default.

How is the Autumn LUT Set different from the free LUTs?

It brings together four palettes — Golden Grove, Ember Dusk, Moss River and Desert Blush — as LUTs in three strengths (soft 35% / standard 55% / strong 80%), along with swatches, CSS and token JSON. It costs ¥1,500 + tax.

Can I make a gradient from a palette?

Yes. On each palette page, open "Gradient", choose 6, 3 or 1 color, and pick a direction. You can copy the CSS or save a PNG (1920×1080 or 1080×1350). Images are made in your browser and are never sent anywhere.

What does AI Color Studio do?

It turns your words or a photo into a six-color palette with a full set of files, made with AI. A purchase code costs ¥500 + tax and includes one generation and three retries. Which text and background colors in Dream Gateway are easy to read?

Using the lightest color, #FAF8F2, as the background and the darkest, #2D3152, as text gives a contrast ratio of 11.8:1, which meets the WCAG guideline for body text (4.5:1 or higher).

Is the Dream Gateway LUT free? Which software can I use it with?

You can download the medium-strength LUT for free. It's a .cube file, so it works in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and more.

COLOR JOURNEY is a site of six-color palettes, run by one person.

What you'll find here

Every few days, a new six-color palette drawn from nature, seasons, places, eras and moods. Each one comes with its color codes and a free video LUT, so you can use it in your work right away.

For more, there are LUT sets in three strengths and AI Color Studio, where AI creates a palette from your own words or photo.

About the numbers

Each palette's number follows the order it was published.

Images

The photos on this site are licensed stock images or images we made ourselves. Please don't repost them.

Access records and cookies

This site doesn't use cookies, so it doesn't ask for cookie consent.

To make the site better, we only record counts:

How many times each page is viewed
Where visits come from (Instagram, search and so on)
Which country visits come from
How many people visit each day
How often LUTs are downloaded and the buy and ♡ buttons are pressed

To count daily visitors, your IP address and browser type are turned into an unreadable code with a key used only for that day, just to avoid counting the same visit twice. We don't store your IP address or browser details, and the code itself is deleted after a day. We never use these counts for ads or share them with other companies.

Palettes you ♡ are saved only in your own browser. Clearing your browser data resets them.

Purchases are handled by Gumroad. When a page opens, your browser also loads Gumroad's checkout script, and Gumroad's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

When you use AI Color Studio, the words and photo you enter are sent to Anthropic's AI service (the Claude API) only to create your palette. We don't save them on this site. To count how many times a code has been used, we record the code only after turning it into an unreadable string.

How this site keeps you safe

The pages of this site are files prepared in advance and delivered as they are. We don't use PHP or WordPress, so the PHP vulnerabilities reported in October 2026 (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, known as PHP2Shell) don't affect how this site works.

We don't ask for or hold personal information such as your name, email address or home address. New colors are announced on Instagram, Pinterest, note and RSS, so there's nothing to sign up for. Access records are counts only, as explained above.

Payments are handled by Gumroad, so we never see your card details. What you enter into AI Color Studio is used only to create your palette and isn't saved on this site.
